Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect, why, and who else touches it. SMT Course is operated by TODO(client): registered legal business name.
What we collect
- At checkout: your name, email address and phone number. All three are required — the payment gateway rejects a transaction without a valid email and phone, and your email is how we deliver the course.
- Payment metadata: order id, amount, payment status and method. We do not collect or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials — those go directly to the payment gateway.
- Usage data: standard analytics such as pages visited and approximate location, used to understand which courses people are looking for.
Why we collect it
- To process your payment and deliver your course access.
- To resend your access link when you ask us to.
- To answer support requests and handle refunds or disputes.
- To meet accounting and tax obligations.
- To measure advertising performance.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with:
- Our payment gateway — name, email, phone and amount, to process the transaction.
- Our email provider — your email address, to deliver the access email.
- Analytics and advertising platforms — anonymised or hashed event data used to measure ad performance.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any purpose.
How long we keep it
Because we promise lifetime access, we retain your order record for as long as we operate, so that we can always resend your link and honour that promise. Financial records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Note that deleting your order record removes our ability to resend your access link. Write to TODO(client)@example.com.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, and analytics/advertising cookies to measure campaign performance. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still function.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Payment credentials never reach our servers. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it for support.
